396 Engine BBC CE Warranty Block J79 1970 69 Chevy Camaro Chevelle Corvette Nova
HARD TO FIND ORIGINAL CLASSIC CAR & TRUCK PARTS
This is a very versatile and valuable 396 warranty replacement block.  It appears to be dated J7 of 9 which would be October 7th of 1969, that means it would be correct for a 1969 or even a 1970 muscle car.  If you don't have your original numbers matching block this is absolutely the next best thing.  This would be a great block for a Camaro, Chevelle, Nova, Caprice, Impala, El Camino or Corvette.  It's in great shape and only bored .40 over.  This block was magnafluxed by a local engine shop and guaranteed rebuildable. It does have some light surface rust which of course affects nothing.  All of the 2 bolt main caps are in place and this block is ready for your classic.  Casting number is 3969854. I think the reproductions are junk because I know from experience they don’t last, you may think my part is junk because the paint is not shiny.  We may see things very differently so please take the time to really inspect this part because I love to help people find parts to complete their project, that’s my passion.
