307 Small block Chevy 2 bolt mains
Casting number: 3970020
Stamped number: V0414CNF (1970 307)
Cylinders appear to have not been bored.
There is a slight ridge that measures out at 3.875. The worn surface is roughly .002-.004" larger.
Crank, rods, pistons, oil pan and harmonic balancer attached.
Was stored inside since removed from vehicle.
I am going through a large engine collection from a machinist and can't possibly get everything checked out. But the fact that he saved the block leads me to believe it is perfectly fine.
I will honor the price paid for 60 days from the day of shipping or pickup of the block if it turns out to be unusable.
I require that it is looked at by a reputable
machine shop, provide name and phone number of machine shop and as good of pictures of the issue as possible before I will refund any money.
Pickup in Kansas is encouraged but I am willing to ship freight.
